Is Blogging Ruining Your Online Business by Bob
in Internet (submitted 2010-07-30)

Blogging is “hot” right? And however there are so many online businesses these days being ruined as a result of of the blog.
Whatever article you browse, whichever web site or forum you visit, you will scan or hear regarding the advantages of setting up a blog and its blessings over using traditional static websites.
And, I gotta tell you, “I’m one of these proponents!”

But what I see all too typically is bloggers sabotaging their on-line business because of their mindset about blogs and blogging.
You see, I think there is a general consensus amongst marketers new to the Internet that if one thing is cheap, if something is claimed to be easier, then it suggests that that it doesn’t need to be “worked.” And then the other facet of the coin is that if “I have paid thousands of bucks to get my web site built then the “workings” are surely included!”
Therefore whether or not folks have more experienced the method of fitting a easy blog or spending tons if not thousands of dollars to have an all singing and every one dancing blog designed for them, they then feel they can do terribly little to plug it, solely to be shocked and disappointed soon that nobody is visiting their blog, no one is signing up to their newsletter or blog updates and actually no one is shopping for their products and services or clicking their AdSense ads.
But it’s not all doom and gloom … The great thing about blog marketing is that by mixing some solid business principles with some promoting strategies, you can revisit on course to get additional traffic, build your list, sell additional product and attract more clients and, this could all happen in a very comparatively short period of time.
Here is one principle and three simple methods that you’ll apply to your blog promoting and promotion efforts these days that can start bringing you traffic and building your readership in a very matter of weeks, if not days…

Initial, here is that the principle:

“You Have To Start Thinking Of Building An Online Business And Not Of Building A Blog.”
If you think that in terms of building a blog, this can be where you’ll stop.
If you’re thinking that of building a business, you may be drawn to business ideas that will facilitate your promote and market your blog and, attract the RIGHT kind of clients.
What you would like to avoid is falling into the trap of creating “kind over substance.” In other words, the methods you apply, should be grounded and insured by principles and, Ralph Waldo Emerson, the author, said that if you try to use ways however ignore principles, you’re positive to have trouble.
Thus with that basic principle of “thinking” business building, let me cover 3 methods that will help endorse the principle so you start making money with your blog:

1) Theme your blog. You can not be all things to all or any individuals since you will finish up serving no one. So the first thing you would like to do, is decide “what” your blog goes to be concerning, “who” it will facilitate and, ask yourself “why” individuals want your information.
This will facilitate you cut your niche before you even start spending your precious time on writing elevator speeches and thinking of the right strap line.
What you now would like to do is go into the admin space of you blog and, since I exploit WordPress, I will use this as an example … you wish to make sure that each the “Weblog Title” and therefore the “Tagline” of your blog replicate what your blog is about.
And ensure they BOTH embody your website’s overall keyword or key phrase. So, if your blog is regarding Dog Training, but your domain name is CruftsRUs.com (a made up name), rather than using the domain name in your blog title as thus many bloggers do, you’ll write “Dog Training With Crufts” or something creative that grabs the attention of your human readers but also attracts the search engine spiders.
Now, when the search engines come back to crawl your blog, this is the first factor they will see ..

Mover And Shaker; He’s Nerdish, Clumsy And Suffers Panic Attacks And Is The Most Influential Music Producer In Britain Today. So Why Does He Want To Take Us All Back In Time?

Byline: WORDS BY LOUISE GANNON

On a blistering hot day in Camden, Mark Ronson is wearing a very small, tight navy blazer, a striped shirt, narrowcut fawn trousers, a Mondrian Swatch watch and black-and-white brogues. But the most significant sartorial flourish is a pair of Warholesque vintage white-framed shades with mirrored lenses, fitted with a pair of miniature blinkers.

Ronson, prince of cool, one of the world’s most successful producers and DJs, dater of French actresses and girls such as Daisy Lowe, isn’t a man who likes people to know who he really is. You don’t see his eyes in those sunglasses, just tiny reflections of your own self. It’s a deliberate trick by a professional puppet master and consummate control freak.

His rise to fame was via DJing and through the shadowy means of creating other stars – Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Adele. It was Ronson who turned these struggling Brit girls into superstars, discovering them in clubs and then producing Back To Black, Winehouse’s five-Grammy-winning album, and tracks on Allen’s debut album, Alright, Still.

Like Phil Spector, Ronson has the Midas touch with music, and, also like Spector, he possesses a fame more mythical than Allen and Winehouse’s very modern-day, let-it-all-hang-out celebrity. ‘I don’t know how Amy and Lily do it. I’ve been with them, seen it first-hand, and it’s not something I would want to go near. I couldn’t stand the idea of photographers standing outside my house, following me around. I can’t understand who on earth could really want that.’

Ronson knows everyone, from Jay-Z to Madonna to Lady Gaga to Chris Martin. He’s the only person Bob Dylan (his hero) has allowed to remix his back catalogue. (‘I have no idea of his opinion, but that’s Dylan. I didn’t meet him, I never spoke to him, I don’t know what he thinks. That’s the legend,’ he says.) He’s more than happy to allow the celebrity of his friends to eclipse his own fame. Later he admits that not even his carefully assembled outfit reflects his real self: ‘Everything I’m wearing I got from a stylist for a photo shoot.

‘I needed to get away from my old style – the tight one-button jazz suits, the skinny ties. I’d been doing that for five years and I wanted to move on. None of that look was mine either; it was based on studying old Bob Dylan images and pictures of jazz musicians. Jazz musicians always look cool. I just copied the clothes, the original details. It was what I was into at the time.’

Ronson speaks in a low, sonorous mid-Atlantic accent that’s neither New York (where he grew up) nor London (where he was born), but carries with it the unmistakeable sound of privilege (his uncle is the multimillionaire Gerald Ronson; his father, Laurence, was a band manager; his mother, Ann, is a wealthy socialite; and his stepfather, Mick Jones, is from the Eighties rock band Foreigner). Now 34, he had the sort of upbringing that’s the stuff of teenage boys’ dreams. His mother and stepfather held the best parties in New York. Paul McCartney saved him from drowning when he was six, Robin Williams read him bedtime stories and he woke up once, went downstairs and found Bruce Springsteen rummaging for food in his fridge. Are all these stories true? Ronson nods, but doesn’t elaborate. He’s said before that his mother ‘has a tendency to exaggerate’

Ruckus Wireless, a mobile networking company, announced the expansion of its Asia Pacific operations with the appointment of five industry executives to its Southeast Asian team.

According to Ruckus Wireless, the five executives include:

The simplicity of Ruckus Wireless Wi-Fi solutions is gaining ground and attracting many businesses in Southeast Asia, especially in education, hospitality, healthcare and service providers.

Locals voice opinions over p&m; closure

0 Comments | Grimsby Telegraph, Dec 6, 2007

So, the authorities want to shut down the Pestle & Mortar then?

Well, all I can say is that if they want a fight, then they’ve certainly come to the right place in taking on the locals in this pub.

Of course, no one from the authorities would have the bottle to come and tell us to our faces, that our beloved drinking hole is going, so we have to tell you in writing.

I went in the pub recently and asked locals their opinion on the closure.

Dave ‘the Caveman’ Phillips said: “They are having a laugh. We don’t close their Rotary meetings, why are they closing our pub?”

Jim ‘Smithy’ Smith said: “Stuff them authorities. The taxes they charge have hurt me more than any blows I have taken down any local.”

Sexy Suzy (she is too shy to give her last name) told me “I met two of my ex-husbands in this place and it means a lot to me. This is where real fellas hang out.”

And Jocko Jim said “This place is kind and inclusive

It is the internationally recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses including the use of natural resources, handling and treatment of waste and energy consumption. Arc Energy’s environment and procurement manager Andrew Robinson became an associate member of the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) as part of the process. The audit was completed within a month despite the unique problems posed by Arc Energy’s location at Eastington Industrial Estate

Put the shampoo

July 29, 2010 - 10:57 am No Comments

Put the shampoo on your scalp, not the ends of your hair. Work up a lather by massaging your scalp with your fingers and scalp brush. Don?t mix your hair all over your head; the more you do, the more tangled it will become.

You may notice that during the first shampoo, you won?t have much lather. That is because your hair is still dirty! Rinse well and then repeat, but this time, let the shampoo sit for a minute (especially if you are using a protein shampoo). Rinse, then press the water out of your hair. Never squeeze or pull your hair when it?s wet. Instead, smooth your hands down from the top of your head down to remove excess water, and important step before adding any conditioner.

Hot or Cold Water?

Honestly, it doesn?t matter because the effects are barely noticeable. However, experts say to wash hair in hot or warm water to help remove dirt and build-up and to rinse hair in cool water to close the cuticle and add shine.

Deep Conditioning

Conditioners penetrate better on towel dried hair so remove excess water first. Be gentle! To protect your hair, smooth your hands down your head from the top of your head down to remove excess water.
